The last day for submission of tenders relating to the tender organized for the purpose of acquisition of network communications equipment.

On 03.20.2014 it was the official launch of the project (kick-off meeting) attended by representatives of the National Railway Companies  CNCF CFR SA, SNTFM CFR Marfa SA, SNTFC CFR Calatori SA and Railway Club.

Within this launch there were presented:

The Target group is represented by: Railway Stations, Local Administrations, Emergency Situation Inspectorates, Universities, City Halls, country Police Inspectorates, Border Police Inspectorates.
The overall objective of the project is : increasing cooperation capacity of the information exchange on the public authorities of Romania and Republic of Moldova cross border area, through the implementation of an integrated communication system.
Obiectivele specifice ale proiectului constau în:

  • Developing a common telecom infrastructure for data and voice over the eligible area of the programme,
  • Increasing interoperability between local and public authorities from eligible area, in order to improve the efficiency of the public sector,
  • Increasing the railway traffic flow and cutting-up the operation time between railway station, respecting all condition regarding traffic safety.

Expected results of the project aret:

    • Development of a communications network (communication system) in the eligible area in order to ensure interoperability between local authorities in the eligible area of the program,
    • Two interconnections of the networks (Iasi-Chisinau-Giurgiuleşti Galati) to form an integrated cross-border communications system,
    • Trained staff for project management,
    • Trained staff for the maintenance and management of the communications system.
